One of the worst things for me about having a Child with Special Needs (CWSN) is that everything has suddenly become about ME. I wake up in the morning and think: How can I have more energy today? How can I be stronger, better today? How can I teach him more today? How can I make a healiteir dinner tonight ... on and on and on. Before bed, I think about this: Tomorrow I am going to research this, tomorrow I am going to put all these dates in a spreadsheet, I’m going totally organic next week, I’m losing 10 pounds to be more attractive to my husband, I’m, I, I’ll blah, blah, blah. I get so sick of my voice that I could puke.
