Uncommon Takeout:
We realized early on in Miles’ development that going out to dinner would
be a rare event. We also realized that many of our favorite restaurants
offered takeout...
Our favorites:
Siki. Sushi in Lee’s Summit-Unparalleled. Even the takeout
it presented in stylish containers, fresh and Miles loves the Philly rolls.
Bonefish.
The Crab-corn chowder with a big hunk of fresh-baked sourdough resplendent
with pesto-oil dipping sauce is perfect.
Yaya’s.
Their polenta is the best in the city and comes with a big hunk of bread for
dipping also.
53rd Street
Bar and Grill brings food right to you car. They have a pretty
good menu and actually make a really good Gyro.
Eden’s Ally
has always had the best vegetarian fare in the city and they are also very
kid friendly for dining in. They have amazing humus served with fat, soft
pita and their salads and deserts rival some of the best restuarants in the
city, I kid you not.
Blue Koi. Miles loves the Chinaq Moon and the sesame balls. He also loves their bubble teas.
Saigon 39. Because Miles loves the spicy stuff and also has an affinity for seafood the spring rolls that Mimi makes are out of this world. He is pretty fond of the pineapple soup as well.
